Position Description
The Business Analyst (BA) will be responsible for gathering and understanding the business needs of clients. The BA will then ensure that the requirements are accurately documented allowing technical teams implement the defined solution. This person should work under less direct supervision with some latitude for independent judgment.
Consult with senior peers on non-complex projects to learn through experience.
This position will be supporting a range of projects across the Acquiring solution.


Your future duties and responsibilities
• Design, implement and maintain POS terminal payment application for various businesses and acquiring institutions across EMEA region
• Manage and own the Backlog and act as a point of contact against the stakeholders (project managers, product managers etc..)
• Define the User stories (do detailed technical analyses) that are part of the backlog and do the refinement and planning of the User stories against the delivery roadmap
• Work within the scrum team that is bringing the e2e value for clients - be a team player
• Concise and structured issue and stakeholder management / communication
Anticipate post-production implications with delivery of requirements
Assess the impacts to each (multiple) stakeholder involved
• Minimize need for multiple iterations of ‘review and update’ sessions prior to client sign-off, as well as additional developer / tester questioning following client sign-off


Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• 3+ years’ experience as a Business/IT analyst in the field of Payments, POS terminals, POS Acquiring or similar
• Strong analytical thinking and technical background with focus on details
Project management methodology knowledge and experience – Agile
Proven track record of gathering customer requirements, analyzing and translating these into business processes
• Business Requirements Solutions / Systems Impact Documents, XLS, XML, Visio, PowerPoint Project size / scope can vary considerably. Specific clients may require a different style to the norm
• Strong verbal, written and organizational skills; strong customer orientation
• Pro-active approach in meeting agreed deadlines
• Project and Process Management

The base salary starts at 2000 EUR/month (gross). The final salary will depend on the candidate's knowledge and experience.
