Consultant Enterprise Business Process Specialist

This position will require Solution Architecture and Design experience for business processes in Finance and Finance related areas of Manufacturing, Purchasing, Sales, Service, Projects, Warehousing etc. in ERPLN and connected applications with ERP. The job involves providing extensive support and leadership to critical projects in progress and planned for various areas of the business over a multi-year domestic and international implementation. It also includes providing support to existing ERPLN deployments at Solar.

What will be your task at this position?

To apply business process knowledge and expertise together with a broad understanding of information

technologies for solving business problems and assisting customers in achieving business strategies. This

position is the link between business units and ITS department for enterprise business processes. Typical internal customers include multiple Solar Departments or the entire Solar enterprise. External contacts include software vendors, various companies who provide I/T software and benchmarks companies with similar process requirements.

Problems are often unique, and solutions can require original approaches and out of the box thinking. The incumbent should be able modify existing approaches as needed or develop new solutions. The incumbent sets priorities and establishes work plans to complete broadly defined assignments for themselves & their teams and achieve desired results. Emphasis on desired qualities is as follows.

• Analyzes Business processes and advocates continuous improvement of enterprise business systems.
• Performs as a Solution Architect in providing world class operating model and processes for sustained profitability and growth with the organization.
• Supports and trains business users and subject matter experts.
• Performs business process analysis and designs.
• Creates and facilitates enterprise process changes.
• Collaborates with other enterprise business process specialists and other team members in the group to solve business problems.
• Coaches and mentors’ new enterprise business process specialists.
• Creates functional design documents and process flows.
• Works with Technical teams to review Functional Designs, Architecture Reviews and Development of new functionalities and features.
• Conducts testing of business processes.
• The incumbent establishes and then monitors general policies and guidelines for projects under his/ her control to ensure specific management goals are met, and desired results are achieved

What do we expect from a suitable candidate?

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting
• Experience with Infor ERP LN and/or BaaN 5C
• Sound knowledge in Finance, Accounting and Costing
• Understanding of GAAP
• Understanding of processes in areas of Manufacturing, Order Management, Planning, Warehousing, Purchasing, Engineering and Sales areas of ERP
• Minimum of 4 – 6 years of ERP experience
• Functional knowledge/implementation experience in ERPLN/Baan 5c
• Strong analytical and communication skills are required
• Must have a passion for enabling change
• Should be able to work with onshore and offshore teams
• The ability to accurately capture business requirements, in order effectively design solutions is critical in this role

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA or equivalent certification
• Experience in designing enterprise T-Accounting
• Process mapping for Enterprise level Integrations
• Working knowledge of ADO/Devops
