Position Description
We are seeking for professionals in the skill-of-future area of DevOps for various projects and across the various industries! As DevOps Engineer you will operate in a highly collaborative framework and support key cloud transformation and cloud development initiatives. For that, you will be following the best practices, and implementing the automation processes based on the DevOps philosophy.


Your future duties and responsibilities
• Build and operate OpenShift Kubernetes on-prem and cloud as a service to DevOps teams - infrastructure knowled. (Or different flavor of kubernetes at expert level)
• Analysis of complex processes and technologically heterogenic applications
• Design and creation of technical solutions
• Understanding operations and build the environemnts self healing manners.
• Stay up to date on technology trends, direction and innovation related to business process and technology areas of focus for the position.


Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Degree in computer science or equivalent
• experience with complex distributed application architecture and DevOps, SRE
• Very good knowledge preferably in several following technologies:
o AWS Cloud and Cloud Orchestration Tools (Terraform, etc.)
o Containerization Docker / Kubernetes (Vanilla K8s, Openshift)
o Container Registries: Harbor, ECR
o Traffic Control in Kubernetes: ServiceMesh( e.g. Istio), Calico Network Overlay etc.
o Salt, Linux Shell-Scripts, Python
o Runtime-, Build und Deployment-Toolstack. CI/CD, GitLab, Jenkins, Maven
o Basic understanding of Load Balancing, Certificates, API Gateway
o JIRA, Confluence
