For this reason, we want to expand our Finance team with someone who will join our colleague Míša and become part of our Finance team at Notino, where you'll never get bored. What will you do?

  • You will propose solutions to streamline financial workflows, reduce processing time, and enhance overall efficiency to improve the financial performance of the organization.
  • We also expect you to identify and address inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement in financial processes to optimize their effectiveness.
  • One of your tasks will be to secure comprehensive documentation of all financial processes and procedures to ensure transparency and consistency.
  • You will provide training and support to finance team members on updated processes and new tools to enhance their competency and ensure successful adoption.
  • You will conduct a thorough analysis of existing financial processes to identify areas for improvement, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Furthermore, you will work closely with members of the Finance department to ensure the effectiveness of set financial processes and provide support to the Finance Process Manager.
  • This role also includes cooperation with cross-functional teams, including Project Management Office, Commercial, IT, legal, and compliance, to ensure alignment of financial processes with broader organizational objectives.
  • You will participate in cross-functional projects as a subject matter expert, providing financial insights and expertise to contribute to the successful execution of organizational initiatives and projects, also in automation initiatives to leverage technology to improve financial processes and increase efficiency.

What do you need?

  • Proven experience as a Business Process Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar position with a track record of delivering successful process improvements.
  • The ability to analyze complex financial processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop effective solutions to improve financial performance.
  • Strong understanding of commercial business operations and the ability to apply this knowledge to drive financial process improvements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various business units, build strong relationships, and negotiate with stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement, anticipating changes, and adapting to new situations.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) or other business process modelling techniques.
  • Knowledge of business process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, Kaizen, Lean Six Sigma).
  • We are an international company, so an advanced command of English is a must, you also need to be fluent in Czech/Slovak.
