Senior IT auditor position in Komerční banka (KB) is a part of the international team of experienced experts. We are responsible for covering IS/IT risks of all the Société Générale (SG) entities within CEE region. Our role is crucial for the healthy direction of the SG Group and is even more important taking into the account dynamic development in the banking area, arising emerging risks, expectations from the regulator, from the public and also upcoming legislation.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Senior IT auditor you will be responsible for the operational management of audit missions in the IS/IT area. The topics include among others IT governance and strategy, information security, alignment of IT and business targets, Agile deliveries, application development and digital transformation, IT operations and business continuity.

Key activities within the audit missions include:

  • ICT risk assessment
  • Execution of the audit tests based on the professional standards
  • Identification of findings and recommendations to improve current processes and mitigate risks
  • Preparation of the final audit report and result presentation to the management
  • Responsibility for the team coordination and development of other colleagues

Except those activities listed above you will be also participating on the audit plan preparation, following up on the implementation of the issued findings and you will share and enrich your skills within the broad global community of IS/IT auditors in SG Group.

Expected skills

  • At least 4 year experience, preferably in the area of IT audit in Big 4 or financial institution
  • Good knowledge of the main bank risks, audit standards, methodologies and activities of your scope (IT governance and security)
  • Certifications like CISA, CIA, CISSP or similar are an advantage
  • Very good analytical skills, diligence and passion for the tasks assigned
  • High level of integrity
  • Ability to support the team as a team member or to step up and take the responsibility by yourself
  • To be able to quickly adapt to new environment and have a will to self-develop
  • Very good communication skills and ability to interact with the company management and stakeholders on a different levels (ranging from a technical meeting with an analyst up to CIO status meeting)
  • To be able to communicate in Czech/Slovak and English on a daily basis, to be able to present and write audit reports in English
  • To be willing to travel if needed to deliver the work in other SG entities, mainly within Europe
