We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our team. The Network Engineer will focus on maintaining and improving the organization's network infrastructure with a primary focus on network operations and a secondary focus on network security. This role includes monitoring, troubleshooting, and implementing changes to the network environment. The ideal candidate will have a proactive mindset, strong technical expertise, and an enthusiasm for new technologies.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Monitor and maintain the health and performance of the network environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Manage and configure network components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Implement and manage network security solutions, such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems.
• Execute network changes, including VLAN configurations, DNS updates, and firewall rule implementations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support projects and ensure seamless network integration.
• Participate in network automation efforts, using tools like Ansible or scripting languages.
• Document network configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
• Stay updated with the latest network technologies and security practices.
• Participate in on-call duties to provide support during critical incidents.

Required Qualifications:
• Proficiency in routing and switching protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP).
• Experience with network security tools and practices (e.g., Checkpoint firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, Bluecoat proxies)
• Hands-on experience with Cisco/Dell networking equipment.
• Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English (B2 or higher).

Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge of networking principles, even without formal certifications.
• Certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, or equivalent are welcomed but not mandatory.
• Experience with automation tools like Ansible and scripting languages such as Python.
• Familiarity with VMware NSX or similar virtualization technologies.
• Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure).
• Experience with DNS, DHCP, and load balancers (e.g., F5).
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
