We are looking for an experienced and proactive Linux Administrator with a DevOps-oriented approach to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing L2 operations of Linux servers, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. Your responsibilities will include providing remote client support, occasional onsite visits, and participating in on-call rotations. Additionally, this position offers the opportunity to work with cloud technologies and contribute to the development of cloud-based solutions for the organization. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in system administration with a customer-focused approach. While not mandatory, experience with automation, containerization, or database management is an added advantage.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux-based environments (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Provide L2 support for server operations, handling incidents and managing service requests.
• Perform system patching to ensure security and compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain system performance, stability, and security.
• Deploy and manage monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
• Handle basic database administration for PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MS SQL.
• Support containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and assist with cloud migration (AWS planned for the future).
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash and Python to streamline processes.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies, best practices, and industry regulations.
• Document system configurations, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
• Work within an Agile framework and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Linux Administrator in a production environment.
• Expertise in Linux operating systems (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in English (B2 level or higher).
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Foundational to intermediate knowledge of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with Oracle database management is a strong advantage.
• Practical experience with scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Understanding of ITIL frameworks and relevant certifications.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
• Experience managing web services like Tomcat, Nginx, or JBoss.
• Basic knowledge of NoSQL databases and message queues.
• Familiarity with VMware, particularly in virtual machine administration.
