For this reason, we want to expand our Finance team with someone who will join and lead our Tax team at Notino. As our new Head of Tax, you will lead tax team, your task will be together with the team to ensure tax compliance, oversee preparation of tax returns within the whole Notino group, structure and lead international projects. What will you do?

  • Lead, mentor, and develop tax team based in Brno and in Prague, fostering teamwork and professional growth.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations in all countries; ensure globally timely preparation of tax returns and documentation.
  • Lead the cooperation with tax advisors in all countries.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies aligned with the group's global business goals.
  • Provide strategic tax advice, particularly to accounting, treasury, and legal departments.
  • Engage in tax structuring and assess business decisions for tax implications.
  • Optimize tax positions across all jurisdictions proactively.
  • Collaborate on IT system implementations.
  • Assess and mitigate tax risks effectively.
  • Develop and maintain tax policies and procedures.
  • Advise on tax implications related to mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations.
  • Stay current on tax laws and regulations, adapting strategies as needed, ensure professional development of the team.

What do you need?

  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Tax advisor certificate is advantage.
  • Proven experience in tax management or tax consulting, with at least 5 years in a management role within international environment.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • C1 level proficiency in English.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of international tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • High integrity and ethical standards; strong commitment to compliance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to influence change and drive results within the company.
  • Capacity to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex tax issues clearly to non-tax professionals.
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining a focus on the big picture.
  • Proficiency in tax software and tax compliance systems.
